  • Fish Burrito (Bowls)

    One of the (many) positives of living on the Gold Coast is that we are surrounded by water.  The seafood is fresh and plentiful. Bonus points for friends with boats! One such friend recently shared his haul with us … winning!  More than 1kg of freshly caught Marlin. And the best bit? He filleted and sliced if for us too! I froze half and pulled it out during the week for a quick, easy and healthy meal the whole family was excited about!
  • Veggie-Loaded Bolognese

    Who doesn’t love a good bolognese?  It’s hands-down my kids’ favourite! This is a variation on the recipe I learned to cook in Méribel, France with a dear friend of mine, Bichon.  I added a whole lot of veggies and simmer it in the slow cooker for most of the day - perfect for those crazy-busy afternoons when you just can’t fathom cooking.  
  • BBQ Chicken Thighs with Roast Veg

    I think that the BBQ is one of my fav kitchen tools!  There's plenty of realestate to cook up a decent family meal, it's easy to clean*, the flavour is pretty awesome and the perfect way to keep the smoke, smells and heat out of the house!
